Finalist MACEF - Design Competition 'H2O on the table', Milan. Horizontal carafe - Central theme of this design is the connotations of water. The horizontal orientation of the bottle symbolises calmly flowing waters, also the idea of water as a symbol of balance is represented in the design. While the tapered end emblematises a spring from which the water is flowing, the air bubbles building up inside the bottle while serving the water remind on air moving underneath a lake's frozen surface. The avoidance of any ornamentation is due to the association of water with clarity and pureness. Every bottle is handmade. Measurements: L: about 42 cm / diameter 5,5 cm / Volume 0,75 ltr |
